Too Much Fatigue Eats Up Energy: Is Life Wearing You Out?

We all know the signs when our body seems to be giving up on us. We experience irritability, disgruntled concentration, slurred speech, exhaustion, and what else have you got there. But we ignore it, because we believe we have to continue working in order to live. Well, you may continue ignoring it, but fatigue will always catch you whenever it wants to, unless you fight it off.

I believe we should start living first, before we could continue working. Our bodies need energy to work. Losing all the strength that we need to get through the day will bring us to nowhere, other than the hospital beds. So what is fatigue then that eats up many working individuals?

Fatigue is a medical condition defined by physical or mental exhaustion and is generated from too much stress, overwork, and other signs of physical or mental illness. It may also be due to inadequate rest, poor physical conditioning, improper diet, and other stresses at home and work.

In addition, long-term fatigue symptoms may also be due to heart ailments, diabetes, cancer, anemia, and low blood pressure, among others. Of course, not to discount also the problem in mental depression; it can lead to a case of fatigue.

Tips to Kick Start Your Energy Level

Low energy levels can really put a damper on the pleasure you find in your life. Decreased energy levels keep you from enjoying your daily activities and even leave you drained after performing basic routine activities. The causes of low energy are numerous, but the most common cause is stress.

Stressful situations typically leave the average person feeling drained and even depressed. When not handled properly, stress can cause a number of health problems. Managing stress is therefore essential. It requires a lot of energy and the right approach.

Below are a few easy tips to help restore your energy to optimal levels.

1. Energize with a balanced breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast should include protein, fruits and healthy fats. The right breakfast should provide you with enough energy to function all day long. Studies have shown that when you eat your daily intake of protein and fat at breakfast, weight loss is easier and energy levels are increased. On the other hand, eating the same things at dinner increases your chances of gaining weight and developing high blood pressure, and even heart disease.

2. Snack throughout the day

Lack of Energy and Varicose Veins…

Question: from Mary

I am 50 years old. I have lupus, currently going through menopause. I really don’t have a lot of energy. Do you have something that would help me? My sex drive is down and I definitely don’t like that. Should I take the Complete Woman supplement that you have? I don’t really like to take a lot of pills, so whatever you suggest.

I am on placquenil. I also take L-lysine, Vit.e, and Vit. C. The doctor told me to start taking Vit D. I take some stuff called venacure for varicose veins (I don’t want to get them and I have a few) Do you have anything for that?

Answer: from Joanna (Medical Nutritionist for Xtend-Life Natural Supplements)

I would recommend the below protocol for you to help with your problems:

Total Balance Womens Plus at 6 per day. This provides many needed essential nutrients, helps to increase immunity and antioxidant protection, reduce inflammation, help to increase natural energy and provide a daily balance of nutrients to help strengthen your overall wellness.

The Bilberry, as well as other ingredients in Total Balance may help your varicose veins, as well as the below suggestions, plus the Red clover, amongst others, can help your lupus.

Aromatherapy Essential Oil Blends for Fighting Fatigue

Feeling fatigued a little too often? Morning cappuccino no longer doing its job? Getting that feeling that you’ve been worn thin by your busy schedule, and you’re just not bouncing back? These can be signs of over-worked adrenal glands – and can be symptoms of a syndrome known as “Adrenal Fatigue“. Thankfully, a few commonly-available essential oils can offer support in regenerating worn-out adrenal glands.

Adrenal Supporting Essential Oils

Several easy-to-find essential oils are commonly used in aromatherapy to support the adrenals glands. Some are used purely for adrenal gland restoration, while others are used to provide a healthy lift when needed, and may be of assistance when reducing caffeine intake. These oils are not to be taken internally, but are best diluted in a carrier oil and applied to the skin.

Spruce and Black Spruce Needle Oils - Spruce is thought to restore depleted adrenal glands, and is used regularly by aromatherapists in blends applied directly over the adrenal area, or in an all-over body lotion.
