Natural Diaper Rash Remedies

If you are a parent of a baby or toddler, you are fully aware of the cost of raising that child.  There are diapers, special foods, formula, and many other essentials you do not even dream of before you have the baby!  Using natural remedies and cures can help reduce your expenses and help your baby in the most natural way.

Diaper rash is caused by irritation of a wet or dirty diaper.  It can cause redness, irritation and be itchy and painful for the baby.  Diaper rash also occurs because of sensitivity to some foods and drinks.  They may raise acid and ammonia levels in their urine and feces.  Diaper rash is something that cannot always be avoided but there are ways to treat the problem naturally.

Diaper rash normally disappears when a child is toilet trained.  One way to help with the problem is to allow the baby to air out for a few minutes each day.  Try leaving a diaper off for fifteen or twenty minutes.  Be prepared for an accident so place the infant on a diaper pad or something that will not be harmed if it happens.
